Student Engagement and Leadership Fellows Program

2004 Student Fellows2005 Student Fellows | 2006 Students Fellows

The Student Engagement and Leadership Fellowship Program exists to empower student action for positive social change in the District of Columbia and encourage them to become "life-long servers" as well as "life-long learners."   Through a competitive selection process, two outstanding undergraduates from each of the seven DC-area universities (American, Catholic, Georgetown, George Washington, Trinity, UDC, and UMd-CP) are selected to receive a stipend to participate as Student Engagement and Leadership Fellows. Student Fellows meet with government and nonprofit leaders to learn about the community's strengths and to explore the issues that underlie its challenges.  Working as a team, Student Fellows design effective community development projects to engage students from all seven campuses in making a real difference in the greater Washington community.

If you are interested in more information about the program and how to join, contact Karyn Cassella, CoRAL Director for Student Engagement at kcassella@coralnetwork.org.
