For the past several years, Pfizer Inc, in partnership with United Way, has hosted a series of workshops for nonprofit organizations in New York City on a number of legal topics that are important to nonprofit organizations. This year, Pfizer has expanded this program to provide the seminar in several cities via video-conferencing. The law firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has graciously agreed to host a site in Washington D.C. The workshops are free. The first workshop will be Tuesday, October 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Revenue Generating Activities and Intellectual Property/Internet Issues for Nonprofits. In addition, they will hold another workshop on Thursday, November 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The topic will be Key Issues in Employment Law for the Not-for-profit Agenda: Navigating the Rough Road Ahead.
