Warm Welcome to Karyn Cassella!
New Director of CoRAL's Student Engagement and Leadership Fellows Program
We are pleased to announce that Karyn Cassella has joined the CoRAL Network as Program Director for the Washington Civic Engagement and Leadership Student Fellowship Program.

Many of you know Ms. Cassella from her years as Director of the Community Services Center at American University, where she developed and managed programs to support university volunteerism and service-learning. For over ten years, she has worked with a broad range of DC-area non-profits, mentoring young leaders and applying non-formal education techniques for creative training and community development.

Her experience and dedication will be a great asset to all of CoRAL's programs!

Congratulations to Linda Williams!

Consortium Volunteer Activity Survey
If you havent so already, please fill out the consortium survey! It should only take about 15 minutes.

Students are due back soon and the Consortium of Universities would like to have enough information to demonstrate to the District's elected officials the potential impact of a law mandating federal background checks and fingerprints for all District of Columbia volunteers working with children and youth.

Only one reply is needed per university/agency/org. Thank you in advance.
