Let the Youth Be Told: Us by Us
Stories, Music, and Art--A Theatre Piece Elevating Youth Voices
Directed by Patrick Crowley, and Produced by CoRAL's own Chitra Subramanian (Service-Learning Coordinator of American University).

Let the Youth Be Told: Us by Us is a bold and dynamic expression of the DC youth experience. Youth will rhyme, rap, and dance their way onto stage, unleashing the challenges they face, the strength inside of them, and the society they would like to see. Monologues, scenes, spoken word, and song convey the realities of their world and the talents and vision that young people possess. Participants include young people from Youth Action Research Group (YARG), Young Women's Project, Sol y Soul's Spoken Resistance, and Midnight Forum.
