Competition
When: Application Deadline October 15, 2006 Where: Online Award Amount: Up to $5,000 The competition is open to any undergraduate or graduate student at a member institution of The Network (search the online "Members" database at http://www.thenetwork.ws to ascertain institutional membership and/or to seek free membership). The Network will provide one award of up to $5,000 for original student research that is consistent with the organization's mission to address alcohol/other drug abuse and violence prevention in higher education. The Inaugural Student Research Award Competition begun in 1987 by the U.S. Department of Education, the Network is a voluntary membership organization whose member institutions agree to adhere to a set of standards aimed at reducing alcohol and other drug problems at colleges and universities.
