 2004 Conference on Community Driven Research  
 and Social Change in the National Capital Region

 Held at:  Bunn Inter-Cultural Center,
                Georgetown University

 When:    Saturday, April 17th, 2004  8:30-4:30 PM

 Theme:  Stakeholder's roles and responsibilities in 
 successful community-based research.  Panel
 Sessions focused on critical issues in the National
 Capital Region, including public education, affordable
 housing, and health services among others. 

 Participation:  The conference was open to anyone
 engaged in community-based research.  More than
 100 individuals from 14 universities and 26
 community-based organizations attended the event.
