Partners in Urban Research Seminar ProgramParticipants | Announcement Flyer The Partners in Urban Research Seminar (PURS) offers the opportunity for university faculty and community leaders to develop research agendas on critical social justice issues in greater Washington DC. The PURS process is designed to foster meaningful partnerships to produce methodologically-sound research. PURS participants engage for two semesters in preparing resources and leading session discussions to learn the principles and practice of CBR to enhance democracy; developing research priorities and conducting strategic community-based research on priority issues; and assessing current interventions taking place to address the issue and promising practices in conducting community-based research. PURS participants are eligible for stipends from the CoRAL Network to support their community-based research.
